Annual Condition Inspection

The annual condition inspection is the most important maintenance event for your gyrocopter. Required by FAA regulations, it confirms that your aircraft is airworthy and safe to fly for another year. At Gyro Wrench, every annual is performed by FAA Certified A&P; and ELA Factory Certified Tech— so you fly with complete confidence.

What's Included in Your Annual Inspection

• Logbook research and review

• Airworthiness Directive (AD) compliance check

• Engine compression test

• Airframe structural integrity inspection

• Rotor system inspection — blades, hub, bearings, bolts

• Flight control system check — cables, linkages, travel limits

• Landing gear inspection

• Fuel system and fuel cap inspection

• Oil system check and oil change

• Spark plug inspection and cleaning

• Propeller inspection

• Return-to-service documentation and logbook entry

Why Annual Inspections Matter

The annual condition inspection must be signed off by an A&P; mechanic. Skipping or delaying your annual doesn't just put your aircraft out of compliance — it puts you at risk.

ELA Factory Certification means we know exactly what to look for on your specific aircraft — not a generic checklist, but manufacturer-level inspection knowledge applied to your gyrocopter.
